hi there getting fibre optic broadband soon and need a wireless card for my pc can anyone suggest a suitable card for a complete novice 
I thought that the fibre optic would come in to a modem/router, supplied as part of your contract, and you would cable your pc to that. A direct cable connection is usually faster than wireless, and speed is the point of fibre optic broadband.
Using a wireless connection will slow you down to the wireless ā802.11nā speed, which is only 300 Mb/s 
, not too shabby after all 
Netgear, I believe do good quality stuff. There are USB wireless adaptors and cards to plug directly into your motherboard on that link.
