winter rescue

just watching the series on channel 5 i just couldn’t believe the phs van driver that drove so far down the untarmaced farm track without realising that he might get stuck, he said it was dark! but i think he should of gone to spec savers. some drivers just shouldn’t be behind a steering wheel

What a prat

Or the RAC driver who said its dangerous when he is loaded and he is as big as the other lorries

It wasn’t just dark though. It was windy too.

turn the sound down and its watchable ,to much “deadliest roads hype” from the narrator
can,t understand the logic of chains on the snowblower ,yet let the gritters slide all over the place beforehand with their special tyres :unamused:
i asked about some last season ,they used to have some ,but they got weighed in as no one used them and the rusted together

Any one got any idea why the pratt in the van needed the R A C . The R A C man just walked in front
of the van waveing his arms about .Van was not broke or stuck

My Mam lives in Lochcarron and I know the bloke who did the explosive work where the rockfall was. They knew when they built it that it would not last long! The village is/was not cut off at all - the main road to Inverness was open, only the road to Kyle was affected.

I only watched the one last week when the RAC guy went out to the van
with the beer.
The driver said it just cut out,as soon as he said that I thought hes put petrol in that
and when he stuck the jump leads on and it was just spinning over and not catching
I thought he has deffo put petrol in.

Sure enough 30 mins later he is back on the blower and they diagnose petrol
in the tank, why didnt he spot it the first time?

and then the prat on the hard shoulder who called the RAC out, then didnt want to be rescued cos his relative was coming instead,. i would have punched his lights out. ****** idiot.

Imo, the gritter driver(one with the cool shades) :sunglasses: made himself look a bit of a ■■■.
He got a bit anti with the 4w drivers that were coming from the opposite direction that wouldnt stop to let him through, even though they were travelling uphill.
Also if the roads the roads blocked, how does the film crew get there?

Probably because he had a flim crew stuck in his face and he was told not to find the problem so they could do a scene in the local pub later on
