I want more pictures of jack-knifed lorries…I’ve never seen one before
This is the result of overnight snowfall at Andalo, Italy.
Had the dubious pleasure of doing a gig at a ski resort on 22nd December, so I suppose it was to be expected.
Put the chains on during the day, ready for the off later that night, but it still took the best part of 9hrs to
get 28km back down the mountain.

Can’t remember the exact explanation of the letters, but basically what it means is that we carry ‘professional equipment’, in our case related to music/bands etc, and as such, whatever equipment we import, we will later export the same load. It should indicate to customs officers that we’re ‘a bit different’ to regular general haulage trucks, although the reality is that it does’nt seem to make the slightest bit of difference - waving the ATA Carnet at the Customs Officer usually does the trick.
