Winseer's mega Covid topic [Merged]

Once upon a time - we had the common cold.
The common cold came in many different versions, and as a result - if you caught version 114251 you would never catch that particular one again, but the next time you caught a cold - it would, of course - be a different version.

The common cold overall - has never had a cure.

A number of people die around the world each and every day from illnesses related to catching a common cold.
There’s no point arguing “No they don’t” - This number is above zero, so it is a true statement to make.

There was never any requirement in Human History to be innoculated against catching a cold, despite the fact that “other underlying conditions” such as HIV, Pneumonia, and other respiratory disorders - could easily see “catching a cold on top” as a death sentence.

Now normally, one would expect to catch a cold at least once a year. The more healthy among us included.

This year though?

Compared to two years ago where “double-hit Flu” was at large - THIS year - have you so much as seen people with coughs and sniffles in public since the beginning of the year■■?

You wouldn’t normally consider “going to hospital” if you got a cough or sniffle anyways, so the NHS must be having a great time with deserted wards at present, as people don’t want to go to hospital for other things - in case they catch a disease there (not necessarily Covid-19) OR they might get banned from working - if their boss found out “they sneaked into a hospital for a minor ailment yesterday”…

So what IS this Covid scare - really all about?

The “Deaths” we are told of to date - are simply NOT significantly above what used to be called the “natural causes background count”.

Does anyone on here know personally as of yet someone who
(1) Got diagnosed with Covid-19 (that others knew about at the time, rather than only heard about post-mortem…)
(2) Lived some days longer
(3) Then Died…

It makes me wonder that all the deaths we’ve been told of - seem to “not have it, don’t have it and BANG - if they died, then suddenly, and only then - they had Covid 19 all along”.

Those diagnosed with it - always seem to “get better” though…

What there has yet to happen to confirm what I would call a pandemic:

Millions of deaths anywhere in the world
I would suggest that a million deaths in a city of tens of millions - would suggest a death rate approaching 10% - and that would indeed be very alarming, and perhaps what one might expect of something branded “A Pandemic”.
Instead though? - We don’t even have a million deaths in a highly populated COUNTRY as of yet!! It is 6 months since Case One (so we’re told…)

Here’s another:

The entire combined governments of the planet - are either co-conspiring here, OR have simply been taken in by these events of the past six months.

No one has moved diplomatically, financially, or politically against China as of yet.
BUT our own governments have moved diplomatically (over-reacted) financially (sent most of us to the poor house) and politically (lied and lied and lied to us all)

WTF?

In former days, - what is being done to us right now - would likely cause a popular uprising!
…But here we are, clapping like performing seals on Thursday Evenings, and lapping up this bull that somehow the NHS is going to get overwhealmed by WHAT?

Full Hospital wards (date-proofed!) footage of people dying on wards ANYWHERE in the world - just hasn’t happened yet.
How come it is a doddle to find vids of dancing police and NHS workers (in my mind, IN on this now world-wide conspiracy) but strangely no vids like we used to accept as part of our daily news headlines…
You know - the ones where a tin-hatted “War Corrspondant” would be in the thick of the fighting, bodies strewn about the streets, in some war-zone anywhere in the world…
Where’s the death and destruction THIS time?
There have not even been reports of “Conspiracy Theorists being kicked off the internet for posting live vids of people dying in hospital wards en-masse”.
Why not?
I suggest because no such footage exists - that’s why!
Our authorities - have not even bothered to “fake up” any such footage, you know “unspecified location” people dying, that we used to get told “were gased by Assad using Sarin/Chlorine/Whatever”
when in fact it is more likely that a Turkish atrocity was swept under the carpet, simply because they are the EU’s darling right now, just as China used to be (and probably still is…) “The World’s most-favoured Nation”."

Why bother with all these lies though?
…It is a good excuse to raise taxes, without governments having to face the possibility of being replaced by an upstart so-called “Extremist” government…
For that in the UK - Read anything to do with Nigel Farage for instance, look what Italy already did to Salvini before this outbreak happened, whilst Vox of Spain and AfD of Germany - didn’t end up making a difference in the end, even though they became minority elected parties in their parliaments…

Then there’s the “Green” issue. Extinction Rebellion gave the Green cause a bad name a few months back, but here we are NOW
with a sledgehammer seemingly used to meet ALL their demands whilst they still protest, which is another head-scratching puzzle…
I used to see more vapour trails in the sky driving home in the morning - than I’ve seen since Easter at all times put together since!

The Weather is far less rainy and overcast of late, but that could be a fluke… Who’s to say that this “clean-up” of our environment - is actually what is driving our new-improved weather patterns though?

I used to think that “what a good idea it would be to get traffic off the roads, by turning people away from the commute, and get as many as possible to work from home in an adjusted economy”.

Well, I should have been careful what I wished for there, I guess.
“Changed Economy” we’re gonna get alright - it is just a shame we had to be lied to, and dragged kicking and screaming TO make that “Economic Change”…

That’s what “World Politics” IS though, I suggest.

But what of China? The world’s premier OLD economy polluter? - It doesn’t look good for them - does it?
What of Saudi Arabia, the worlds premier peddler of Fossil Fuels and purchaser of Warmongering Kit? - It doesn’t look good for THEM at the moment, neither - does it?
The military solution of “War on Terror” has been scrapped, and replaced by this seemingly “Green” and “Hard Centerist” version.
Why “Far Center”? Is there even such a concept?
Because it is they who are best at “Lies Management”, They who are best at “Dodgy Dossiers, Lies, and Spin” and of course They who run the fake mainstream media.
They’ll let the Far Left have a voice - but not the Far Right meanwhile. Doesn’t sound very “Centerist” to me actually… You’d think they’d crack down on outfits like Momentum as much as Laxley-Yennon - but no.
…There again, who’s to say that Momentum are not actually “Centerists” masqeurading as Left WIngers anyways?

As a prior Nat Socialist leader once argued “It is easier to make the masses fall for HUGE lies than a small ones.”

The BBC this week - Keep banging on and on about Northern Ireland, as if they seek the break-up of the UK
They DO of course, at least the way I see it!
Even Boris seems to be a damp squib now, unable to even stand up against Sediq Khan when he ransomed the government for what? £1.6BILLION?
If Boris moves much further to this “Leftist Appeasement” - he’ll end up crossing the floor to Keir Starmer’s Labour Party!!

Me being Socially Liberal and only Left on Financial matters - means that I object to the uneven playing field we have.
Workers with Unions get treated better by the government of ANY colour than they do without unions. If Employers actually upheld “equal treatment of all” rather than this lukewarm “positive discrimination/Nepotism” policy that has been the norm for decades - we wouldn’t ever need “Unions” ever again!

TfL and the Teachers look set to get everything they want, despite their demands representing nothing more than “Premium for Risk” that they do not deserve, since they do not gamble in the normal sense.

Notice that we, of the Transport Industry - don’t even get “Equal Treatment” as so-called “Key Workers” right now. Go Figure!

The reason, of course - is WE don’t have that Union Representation in any effective sense.

If an NHS worker got singled out for bad treatment - he’d have to be Beverley Allitt or Harold bloody Shipman for that treatment to stick!
Are they REALLY worth such oversight? - Hotbed of Momentum members as they are, part of a conspiracy against the public as I believe them to be, and bleeding us dry financially - as they most definitely are as well…
Where else can you get £50ph for agency work in THAT workplace, or ful sick pay for the most minor ailments, the option to “chicken out of working” on full pay when it suits you, and the WASTE that comes from too many non-medical MANAGERS that has been the case for decades already?

When Boris makes a song and dance about all this “NHS aggrandisment” like he has - I have to be suspicious of “WTF has happened to this man■■?”

No, I’m not about to start voting Labour - but I can’t see the Tories winning the next election on a “Vote for us, or risk getting Labour” ticket any longer.
If we’re not careful - the world will throw up not just ONE more “Hitler” - but a whole multitude of them! A strong party to finally get rid of the incumbent establishments that have nothing for their general publics other than "Higher Taxes, Lower Public Services, Unequal Treatment, and a social order full of iniquity just RIPE to be taken over by the first strong-arm that comes along.

Remember folks - that Hitler made an attempt to unite Germany’s Left Wing Socialist Workers with his Right Wing Military to create the “National Socialists” - NEVER forget that this was an attempt at being CENTERIST - the real enemy within, all around the world - with History now looking like it is going to repeat itself “knock-on effect”.

“If we don’t learn from History - we’re doomed to repeat it.”

My next door neighbour and another family friend were diagnosed as having Covid19 both have since died, so in answer to your question, yes I know of people who have been diagnosed, lived for a period of time and have since died.

I wont go into the rest of your post as I have not read it, but the pandemic is real and people are dying.

My neighbor died on January 8th, since the “outbreak”, but before the lockdown.

If there is no post-mortem, there is a temptation for the record to mention “Coronavirus”, but it turned out instead that he died of a stroke.

I’m not suggesting that there is no such thing as Covid-19 - just that it doesn’t measure up for what Historical accounts of other Pandemics describe as “fitting the bill”, such as the Pandemic of 1919 that did indeed kill millions of people around the world. 1 in 4 people in this country caught Spanish Flu, and the final death toll for England alone - exceeded 200,000 despite a much lower population back then.

Today’s 6-month-in mortality count stands at around 33k from a much higher population than 100 years ago.

My feeling is that the Covid-19 death rate has been exaggerated, not “invented out of thin air”.

Thanks for providing an answer to the question though. It is rather odd that so few of us in this community have shared your own experience, which was the point I was trying to make.

Meanwhile back to the present, and I dismay over the history of even the 1919 Spanish Flu now being re-written by corrupting the statistics in the same way I feel our current “Pandemic” is being treated.

To look at Wikipedia for example, and their figures for "Britain death rate 1900-1930 - you’ll see that the death rate was (according to this new data) FLAT throughout the period, as if the Spanish Flu never happened at all.
If there’s one thing worse than “Fake News” - it has to be “Re-written to fake” Historical accounts, espcially when the absolute data gets re-written…
Nowadays, Henry VIII is now a “Villain” and Rodrigo Borgia an “Unsung Hero” and “mis-understood politiciian” according to Wiki re-writes to date… :frowning:

Here’s the link to the data table to which I refer:

I think it is utterly scandlous that statistics are now being re-written to “erase history” in this way!

Before I was a driver in my early 20’s, I was a computer coder specializing in Data Processing. In an alternative life, I might have been mopped up for a career at Cambridge Analytica - but I didn’t get to go to University, and thus wasn’t sucked in by the “Establishment” myself. Instead, I am on the outside, looking in - and I often don’t like what I see, nor what we as a Human Race have become in the name of “Governed bodies of People”… :frowning:

He has plenty of time on his hands now to post this stuff!

After all he’s not getting any work from the agency that he spent 15 months banging on about being better and just as secure than a full time perm job!

Why click on one of my own threads - if you were already deciding to find no merit in it?

…Just looking for something to moan about - weren’t you?
Oh, and if you want to make a personal attack - do it in public, not in a PM.

“Ignoring” me or thinking me “unpopular” - is one thing, but if you’re going to openly despise me - then keep your opinions to yourself, for the sake of “keeping the peace” if nothing else.

I doubt very much if anything I’ve written on here - ever put people off writing their own stuff on these message boards.

There’s no need to write 100 lines for me by way of self-punishment! :smiling_imp:

We’ll see who’s still laughing when the temporary furlough pay - runs out.
Sunak has polarized the working nation pver “who gets and who don’t” as much as Farage did with Brexit. “Remainers have a cushy life already, Brexiteers want something better”.

By the point Furlough ends, there may not be many jobs to return to, let alone go and get in the open market which will look like the housing market by the end of this year, I reckon…

If this Coronavirus were as serious as Spanish Flu 100 years ago like the lies suggest, then there would be more jobs than people left to fill them, with all survivors prospering as a result…

But that’s NOT going to be the case! Nearly everyone will still alive with this exaggerated virus, and the economy already being crushed to a fraction of its former size?

“First-come-first-served” springs to mind, when everyone eventually tries to return to work at once…

or…

“Last one back to work - will either find their job no longer exists, or has already been taken away from you in your absence…”
Militant Unions are already practically beggiing to be laid off, once this is all over…
The downside of unequal application of the rules - if ever there was one.

TfL people - don’t want to go back to work.
Teachers - don’t want to go back to work.
NHS workers currently off sick - don’t want to go back to work.
Maybe eventually everyone currently on furlough pay - won’t want to go back to work.

The main reason that the “Workshy” are so difficult to get off benefits - was that “You get paid for not getting a job, whereas getting a job means earning less than you used to get on benefits”…
If you get furlough pay that leaves you enough to get by and pay the bills - are you going to want to join the rat race again, spending over 20% of your income on commuting to that job, as you’ve now only just found out? - I don’t BLAME some people for “not wanting to go back” actually!
People have been scattered on either side of what used to be called “The Poverty Divide” as a result of this lock-down.
Very few people - are going to be exactly the same as before - once this lockdown is finally over.

Meanwhile, EEs are not going anywhere, so who knows - maybe they are pitching for jobs at yards where they see a parked-up “mothballed” truck already?
…I’d be a bit worried if your gaffer - hasn’t SORN the truck you drive every day before the lockdown… Put it that way! :smiling_imp:

You know you’re in for the even extra long haul of boredom, bordering on suicide tendencies, when Winseer starts a post with…‘‘Once upon a time’’ :open_mouth:

Just noticed he’s written it all out twice on two separate thread titles. :open_mouth:
Wtf

…Made you look twice - didn’t it?

Just think of it as “Clickbait” if it is more entertaining that way…

But is he wrong with what he’s put, when we have all the media telling us constantly how bad things are but there’s less than a quarter per cent of the population died of it but people still walk round Tesco with a mask on somethings wrong somewhere

This kind of topic quickly ends up here (in Bully’s) because it is (or invites) a meandering discussion, which doesn’t necessarily interest all people.

For those who find it boring/uninteresting, I’d suggest navigating to a topic that does interest them without wasting their time commenting on something that’s not to their liking.

IMHO, the only people it might put off coming onto the forum are those without the sense/skill to recognise something that they don’t like before they’ve read it all, then navigating themselves away from it.

:bulb: Live and let live eh?

I walk around in any public confined space, such as Tesco, with a mask on because I’m in a high risk group, whilst my partner is in an even higher risk group.

I believe it might help me or my partner to not catch this awful disease in the first place, because if either of us catches it, we might not cope with it as well as younger/fitter people can.

FYI: It’s not about post-counts.

There’s a thing called freedom of speech.

It involves people being able to say what they like, provided that’s it’s within forum rules.
