I cab hop at my current job! And I canât stand all the tassle crap! It shouldnât be allowed as only a minority are like this! Most of us drivers would prefer not to have to chuck fluffy cushions on the bunk or other tat hanging in front of the windscreen!

It does seem the polishing has priority there alright! Maybe I should have been on Tippers mate!

A bit strange; Professional driver doesnât realise blocking your forward vision with tat might be an infringementâŚ

NTSH, why do so many drivers feel the need to insult people who want to bling their trucks up. If you donât like it donât do it but stop insulting people who do like it. Freedom to be who you want to be. I donât like all the bling myself but donât insult people who do. Thatâs what makes us individuals. It is a free country; Which is why if I have to drive a lorry with the windows blocked up with curtains and cuddly toys theyâll be pulled out. I donât see why I should risk an accident because the regular driver wants to recreate a cheap Indian restaurant.

Well its simple then, take things down while you drive it but people donât need to slate drivers off for doing it. Doesnât make a difference to your day does it I have had to drive trucks with things in the window etc etc & iâve just taken it out & replaced items when done⌠not really an issue.

never seen a bonds wagon covered in pointless tat, or come to that churchâs either, bonds are kept in great condition clean and tidy but nothing really extra on them, as for churchâs just basic trucks painted and thats it really

We had Churchsâ on hire to us last year. They parked about 4 at a time in our quarry and went home in a people carrier. All the motors were less than 3 years old but 2 had all the crap on like spotlights bullbars, flags cuddly toys, frilly curtains etc and the others didnât. I asked the non blinged drivers why they hadnât got the rubbish on theirs; â'Cos Churchy isnât stupid enough to buy it for us!â Was the reply.
