Windows ME problem - Sorted

I have a problem with the shutdown process. When I go Start, Shutdown, I get no change at all. !!!
I’ve been through all the usual troubleshooting pages, and all I can find is a big fat no help at all.
Please can one of you lot help, it aint my computer so I have limited knowledge as to what the user has done, though I suspect not alot.
There is no internet connection on it, if thats of any help…

This is the best shut down switch for ME its also the one i use for XP.

it’s probably a program stopping it. Heres a couple of links that may help. Say’s Win 98 but should also work with Win ME.

Best bet though would to be get shot of Win ME. :laughing: :laughing:

Yep, I agree he should get shut of ME, but thats another story…

Press the Windows+R key together to get the run command box up.
