hi phil, i remember ELF running out of Langley(slough) in the late 70’s early 80’s !
Hi Jimcab.
I worked out of Avonmouth but I loaded at Langley ( now gone ) a few times. Elf had the petrol station outside the main Heathrow terminal at the time and also the fuel contract for the airside service vehicles . We used to get sent up from Avonmouth when the airport baggage handlers had one of their strikes on and the local drivers were blocked from going in there. Also used to go into the Murco depot at Theale.
