Has anyone had any experience with them doing local ready mix runs on class 2. Or ready mix jobs in general? I’ve Been offered a permanentry job at £10 hr with plenty of overtime and bonuses payable every month.
Sounds like it’s going to be touching 56 hour weeks, also been told it’s an overnight cab so although not implied there may be some tramping.
1 weeks training course followed by 2 weeks with another driver.
If im right… which i think i am, you will be contracted out to hanson… on an 8 metre volve with tri axle at the rear with tag lift…
The job… well prepare for some stick at first… just prove yourself and you will make some good mates, also its a love or hate job, turning up to site with 4 metres annd 3 guys with wheel barrows bearing in mind its 21 barrows to a metre… so prepare for a long tip!! Also its a dirty job, going on to swamps for what they call a site… could go on more but having said that its a good job, wouldnt worry about the nights out be very little if not at all, when i did it, i did it once in the year, if you want more info pm me buddy
