jobs going on this contract days,nights west wales money not to bad 4on 4off/ 4on 3 off weekends xmas if on shift any info good or bad thanks
Never done milk tanks, but I meet up with a lot of 'em and most of the lads I speak to seem to be happy with the job.
As it says the job’s ongoing 365 days a year, farmers do tend to avoid having a collection on Christmas Day but it can happen; you won’t collect from every farm every day, depending on how many they milk and how big their tank is it might be every other day or even twice a day for the big boys.
You’ll be on domestic hours so make sure you’re well boned up on the law in that respect; farmers will expect you to get there no matter what, and they like you to be punctual. If anything it’s better to be a few minutes late than early as it tends to ■■■■ them off a bit if you turn up and they’re still milking. You might end up working some odd hours; if you’re lucky you’ll go with another driver first to learn where the farms are, I’d invest in some OS maps because satnavs often send you to the farmhouse which might be a bit away from the milking parlour.
And it helps if you don’t mind dogs! 
Get yourself a flat cap and a decent pair of toecapped safety wellies too,
they like it when you blend in and it doesnt worry the sheep … and it can get mucky in yards sometimes.
