How does this fit in with the massive?
Higher Lower or indifferent
Well if I was a woman working in Scotland, I’d say it’s pretty accurate!
And the point is ?
That table is purely academic without knowing the amount of hours and days worked, some trampers would probably exceed it, day trippers no where near it.
about right for sw averange
Bear in mind this is for working people… add at least 20% to the take-home if you’ve never had a job or walk round town all day with one elbow crutch.

yeah same as me too lol
Given the supposed average working week is 40 hours I am massively below those numbers.

is it though? 40 hours per week is the standard, but is it the average?
a quick google brings up 42.7 for this time last year, so not a that far off
i expect those figures to be after tax.
£600 to £650 after tax is about the average tramping wage.

I think that is why it is an average, some people will do do 60 hours, some will only do 20.
Working on the books for a local company I recently made £376.88 net for 58hrs work !

Compared to the £504.24 net I earn’t on agency for the same hours they certainly deserved on that’s for sure
Still a long way short of the average when averaged over 40 hours even on reasonable agency rates.
Almost spot on - for two years back that is.
