After reading this yesterday i thought i hadn’t seen any either,then today i saw a white Renault Magnum with a blue curtainsider going eastbound on the A55 at St Asaph this morning,it had A west midlands reg BX… is this where they are based in Britain?
Old eastern block countries are getting more big supermarkets companies like Lidl Metro Billa Kaufland plus DIY stores like Praktiker and Baumax you see them everywhere in Romania Bulgaria delivering to these stores could be a better job for them rather than tramping all over Europe and UK

There are quite a few of those Betz covered car trailers about,mainly on Austrian and Italian plates.They shift a lot of the up-market stuff such as Ferrarri and Lamborghini.

It is quite surprising how many open transporters they run too, as we used to bump into them in PSA France and around the Ford plants in Germany

Also my German friend told me that Willi Betz got a new contract and got busy running from Lativa to Afghanistan as daily.
Interesting, I heard that too; huge amount of supplies of all sorts out of Riga docks to AFG, Latvians are very upset 'cause they are not on the job as Betz put “all” his PL and BG fleets on it.
And from another guy I heard that there’s serious shortage of Russian permits because “betz got them all” and that forces hauliers to turn west for work.

I see a lot of Betz car transporters traveling through Bulgaria heading towards Turkey mainly loaded with BMW and MERCS
they seem to have a big fleet with various reg. numbers

RE : Betz’s on UK plates
They run a fleet of Merc Actros’s out of Derby area, there are all 07 plated and are “FJ” prefix which i think this is the code for derby.
The white magnums there seems to be a small number of these, all on “BX” plates which is the west midlands area, but not sure where these run from.
If anyone drives down the A38 the NYK Logistics depot at Burton-Upon-Trent (on ur left if going towards derby) always has Betz tilts in the trailer park, i drove past today and there was more Betz trailers in there trailer park than there own, all yellow livery.
Also spotted 5 bulgarian betz’s at Hilton park services, all new actros models, nice big satalite dishes on them, i was wondering if they can get sky on them ! Hheehheheehe

Saw one of these heading south on the M74 yesterday but with a tri-axle trailer
Ive also noticed that betz only have German & Austria drivers on VIP car duties, no polish, bulgaria, hugary or romania drivers, i think there strictly on the tilts.
