I managed to leave my wallet in my pocket while my shorts were being washed. Has anyone else done similar, will my card still work?
Dont say “just try it”, I’m on holiday for a week so I cant try it. I don’t want to get to work next week and find it wont work. So if it definately wont work I’d like to know now so I can get a new one.

he says that if your card is faulty and wont work dvla will know this and will write to you enclosing a letter that you carry with you so no worries 
My previous card was lost in freezing snow for a night, washed in the washing machine, regularly stored next to other cards of the magnetic strip type and the memory chip type and apart from needing the occasional wipe with a clean cloth worked flawlessly until it was replaced when it expired

cant see why not as others have said I have left mine on microwave at home and missus has used microwave have washed my card tumble dried it and allsorts and mine still works fine
