New Thames tunnel delayed by 2 years.
Given that up here we’ve had both the upgrade to the trans pennine rail route and the leg of HS2 from East Midlands to Leeds cancelled, really don’t care that they’re getting a project for London binned. Let the southerners suffer. Only time I go there is on hourly pay so if I’m sat in queues I don’t care as it’s more money in my pocket.

I don’t give 2 stuffs if it has been cancelled as:
- I don’t do London
- It makes a change from something oop north getting cancelled.

If you banned the fuel tankers , haz loads using the tunnel then there would be no need to build a extra crossing , often go over bridge & never have a issue , tunnel often backed up because of tankers being allowed to cross with copper ■■■■■■ , left tunnel comes to a full stop , I’d just send them the long way round , a few tankers causing those tailbacks is a joke
As for the northerners moaning about being brought up to date with technology , most of them walk round in flat caps with a whippet on a lead , and there house toilet is a outbuilding in the garden , there 100 yrs + behind the south , just leave them as a reminder to us southerners of how our great / great grandparents lived
Only time I go north of The Gap now is at 36000 ft

There are certainly plans for a Disney something or other near Swanscombe and the Bozo was going to build a new Island and an airport on an extended Isle off Grain. We suffer for all these wonderful ludicrous pipedreams to satisfy the ego of London so-called intelligencia and its politicians.
