I think it will still be there but might not be on its wheels.

Ah, I’ve been delivering to the Open all week and it’s something of a quagmire. Thought it might have been there.
In the absence of a meaty enough telehandler one of those high-lift farm jacks usually works when you can’t get back under, provided the trailer’s empty or lightly loaded if anyone ever finds themselves a bit stuck.
That does look very soft in that picture.
Looking at that pic again, it seems that the trailer is twisting a little bit too.
Its going to take some pulling out of there Mick. Just hope there are some heavy duty forklifts on site to lift the front end up enough. Good luck getting that out.
Always ask for a bit of steel deck (staging), thats what I used to use. Stick it under the legs and it will hold.
You should have dropped it on timbers or something, when you go back you are gonna get stuck there’s no doubt. It remind me of the shows I used to do, I would get stuck every time it rained being towed out was a good earner for tractor drivers who would hang around the shows just to make some extra cash. You will have to pay one so be warned.

It was sitting on timbers!!! they sunk then tried a couple of the fence rubber feet , they sunk.there will be tractors on site so am hoping they will tow me out. my biggest worry is actualy getting under and locked in!
fingers crossed it dries out a bit and can get in and out safely.
If it’s light it might wind up in low gear. If you’ve got an inflator letting the tyres down on the o/s might lift the n/s front up enough. You can let the tyres down on the unit but have to be careful you don’t tear the spray suppression/mudguards off - although if you do they are a handy traction aid. You could couple at an angle from the o/s but there’s a risk you end up worse than you started if it doesn’t work out.
Only for the brave but where you can get under it a bit put can’t get enough traction to shove it back to the pin you can connect the susies and put air into the trailer and put (multiple) ratchet straps round the back of the chassis and then round the landing gear and give it a tug.
The organisers should have provided something suitable like some railway sleepers.

The very first show I got in trouble with was doing the Fox FM roadshow in a large park in Oxford, it was 1998 or 98 can’t remember to be exact but the ground was soft due to heavy rain. I set the show up as requested on top of a hill and although others told me not to I dropped the trailer from the tractor, I put wooden blocks under the legs and it seemed ok, I opened the stage up and everything still seemed fine untill the show started and about 20 people and tones of equipment were put on the deck. When the show closed and the equipment was taken I had to wind the legs up as high as I could to get back under, then there was no way I could get traction, it turned dark and nobody stayed to help… In the end some old fair ground geezer came trundlig down with an old Scammell heavy haulage tractor, must have been about a 1950’s model, he aslo bought me fish and chips to eat as he connected a steel cable to my Scania tow hook, drove a 100 yards then winched me, drove another 100 yards and winched me etc etc … he did this about 5 times till I got on firm ground and he wouldn’t take a penny
Good luck for Monday and whatever happens keep us informed, photos etc

Try putting some sheets of scrap ply under where your wheels would be before you hook up. Gives you half a chance to get moving. If you can’t find scrap expensive stuff works just as well
Some of these places have been a bit of a challenge this year, a little bit wet in places.
At least the local farmer was on hand with some assistance

I won’t go off-road on a job unless the customer signs a contract that they’ll cover the cost of a wrecker if we get stuck and generally won’t touch anything where it looks like it’s a muppet show. I used to deliver old box trailers and it was quite often Joe Public wanting one in their field or large garden and I nicked the idea from the company that flogged them. They always used to ‘oh it’s alright we’ve got a tractor’ but they still had to sign.
We’re the same, it’s amazing how quickly it gets things changed in your favour and what was impossible before is suddenly fine
