Will I be ok?

Driving back to the yard with my mud guard strapped up, caught it on one of those yellow barriers at the side of a bay at Gadbrook. Need to get back to Lincolnshire, it’s strapped with two straps holding it up.

Yes, vostapo don’t exist  can’t see you getting a tug, as it’ll be dark very soon! :grimacing: :grimacing: :grimacing: :grimacing: :grimacing: please think of the children, merry Xmas! :sunglasses:

Yeah, your be ok, so long as its strapped, and your en route to get it fixed, shouldn’t be a problem…good luck

More effort than many would put in, be dark in a few minutes so doubt anyone will see it, you can only do your best when something like this happens.

Fair play, you’ve used a bit of common, crack on mate!

Those yellow bay guard barriers are a menace. I lost a mudguard on one at a place in Birmingham a while ago. After unsuccessfully trying to bodge it together with trailer seals, I managed to find some zip ties round a lamp post: I cut them off with my Swiss army knife (which I always carry like a good boy scout) and used them to fix the mudguard. Not the first time I’ve salvaged zip ties from a lamp post when my in cab stock has run low …

A driver at Gadbrook said the same thing “you’ve done more than most lad, most people at my place would have left it to fall off completely or ripped it off”

I’d never buy a trailer with mud guards again.
