Driver might not get done, no.

But someone (the company) can expect a colossal bill from the Highways Agency/Police/Clean up Contractors.

I saw him again just and asked him if he’s had anyone contact him.He said not yet, what you said could cause a problem we are all owner drivers and that’s why the post is a little witheld with information.

If the HA didn’t take his details ‘for their incident log’, they’ll get them off the police.
Either way, a mahoosive bill is on it’s way

Did he get cautioned by the Police at the scene? If he did, it could be up to 6 months before he hears anything.

No caution or anything at the time, that’s crazy that it can take 6 months if 1 officer is doing the report how busy must he be.I hope he gets off like all of us can make mistakes but with our industry we pay in the pocket or even worse prison.

My mate lost 10 tons one night, first load out as well.

Had to go back and re-load with more though the roads were frozen solid

Don’t worry about it - no one was hurt which is the main thing, ■■■ happens mate
