How do you get internet when in europe? do you buy local dongle for each country(expensive!) or try to find hotspots?
I use hotspots, I am using one in Germany right now. Some you pay for but there are free ones about as well.
have you ever had the problem of another laptop close by recieving your internet activities or vice versa, it happened to me once in holland so im wary of using hotspots

I very rarely use wi-fi, but your post is the first time I’ve ever heard of this happening.
Quite a lot of business people use wi-fi on the motorway services, so if this was a regular occurrence I’m sure it would be quite widely known. We wouldn’t be keen on personal stuff appearing on your wi-fi neighbours laptop, possibly quite sensitive company stuff appearing on your wi-fi neighbours laptop would surely create quite an uproar.
The popular fast food outlets usually have free wi-fi in Europe, the same as they do in the UK.
i was saving some scanned cmr,s to my docs folder and when i clicked save another driver not more than 6 feet away also recieved a copy, maybe

It would have to have gone through your network connection (as far as I know) which would be wi-fi.
Unless it was a mate and you had previously set up a direct connection using another system (bluetooth for eg? if thats possible) and you had unintentionally reconnected using that method.
