Why do some drivers when reversing on a bay and miss it. Roar forwards at great speed and try again. Surely if you’ve missed it you would gently pull forward so as to not look so inept

Maybe they are annoyed with themselves.
Getting their mad up
its not as easy as it looks reversing onto a bay i found anyway some off the old bays are swines the new ones are more straight forward just got to watch the mad shunt drivers. i worked out of a yard in heywood they was terrible just over a foot between trailers, and no room in front of you so you had to lock the truck right up it. i was a new driver then i used to dread going back to the yard with a Que of trucks behind you and your making a mess of it lol, anyhow im a lot better now. practice i found i was rushing thats why i was losing the trailer take it nice slow its much easier. SO DONT REV UP IF YOU MISS
Get ■■■■■■ off lol, I’ll admit I’ve done it lol
As long as the ground slopes away slightly which it does at our yard, I just let wagon roll forward, still in reverse with the clutch down.
Which, in my eyes, means that since I haven’t come out of reverse, I haven’t really taken a shunt
