Why park like a cunt?

Drivers park without any consideration because that’s how the wider population behave, with no thought for any one else.
It’s endemic and no body gives a stuff. It’d wind me up every day if I let it and is part of the reason I like working nights.

I would’ve had a night in Ponty as I was tipping at Regain Pollymers at Alfreton Bywater but since the council shut the lorry park that’s thst idea shafted

Have they built on there yet, or did the ■■■■ s just shut it for the hell of it.

How do you know that the gap in front of him wasn’t filled by a rigid or a couple of cars until a few moments before you arrived? I hope you gave him the benefit of the doubt and were very polite and gave him the “If its not too much trouble” line. Not pointing fingers at you necessarily as I don’t know you personally, but a huge amount of truckers I met were pretty ignorant when it came to social graces

If it had been me and you didn’t ask politely I’d have had the ■■■■ you attitude as well, after all “He was there first” .

They shut the lorry park in February and I thought there’d be houses on it soon but no and no signs of planning applications. The sign says there are “alternative facilities at Whitwood and Ferrybridge.” It was always rammed as well. You can still park on the road down the side that leads to the station but there’s only a couple of spaces.
Loads of folks have said that Ponty was a good night out, I live there and know it is.

I did say " do you mind pulling upto the truck in front" it was his childish attitude and the " ■■■■■■■ hell" what narked me as though it was a major inconvenience for him. I can understand if there was cars parked in front before but if the ball was on the other foot I’d explain to the driver that vehicles were parked in front before I’d got there just to put the other driver in the know that’s why I was parked like a ■■■■■ He didn’t do my guessing his he was just parked like a ■■■■

Only stopped there twice and your right about it being a good night but ■■■■ me there ain’t half some specimens walking about  Some of the birds had better tashes and more tattoos than the fellas

Dazza1980:
i stopped there yesterday morning to get a red bull. Was 3am though so no traffic at all and not many actually stop there. Very rare i see one stopped there and im in that area alot.

It’s becoming endemic stopping there and the cops are on the case, especially as the local cop shop is only 800 yds away so the traffic cops are in/out of that base heading towards the M18. (I live nearby)
The irony is that you can park close to Morrisons at the other side of the roundabout without causing an issue the garage is 24hrs, and the prices are probably cheaper too

Plus you can watch some fine gussets in Lycra being worked to death on the treadmills and walking machines in the gym

They are on 22% of truck earnings. There is also another company in scotland pays 20% and drive like idiots.

I would have thought that a co (who ever that may be) that claimed to pay earning percentage, and had one driver who believed it, so went like a demented idiot . :unamused:
Also had another driver who did not believe it, so tried a months experiment and backed right off for a month, and found that his and the idiot’s were only a few quid difference, may have gone a long way to show it was no more than a ploy to get drivers to go on a tearsarsing fest every month.
Make up your own mind.
That’s all I am saying and not meaning any particular company.

Fully understand its just a scam. They want as much out of you as possable but not into that.I like to just get on with the job in hand and be done.Does make you laugh but see them goin like a looney for nothing more than anyone esle.

Tradesmen are hopelessly inconsiderate when parking their vans. Well not parking more like abandoning. “Accidentally” taken a couple of wing mirrors over the years as souvenirs. I doubt they’ve noticed as they don’t have a use for them.

Speaking of Jenkinsons…

Apologies if you’ve already saw this one!!!

‘‘The driver said he was SIMPLY following his sat nav’’
Simply being the operative word, anybody who blindly follows a sat nav ignoring where it SUGGESTS (not sends :bulb: ) and ignoring the unsuitsble surroundings is just that…■■■■■■ simple.

C’mon Bob u just bought the latest one and asking if you got the right1.
And we thought your the proper ■■■■■■■■ trucker who done the lot.
But needs someone to tell him to turn Left or Right

I don’t get the connection between…skilfull piece of towing, and …3 houses were damaged in the process… still, there but for the grace etc…everyone has a momentary lapse of sanity sometimes, with the inevitble instant death result. ( I worked for an agency once)… :open_mouth:

Ok Jock firstly it aint the latest one it’s a cheap basic one.

Don’t NEED it to do anything mate, it’s a guide. :bulb:

Got the ■■■■■■■■ trucker bit right though :sunglasses: done without one for as long as God was a lad, and for last couple of weeks.

What about you, Tomtom Supertrucknav 123XYZ The type that tells you when you should stop for a ■■■■ I am guessing??
