Hi Guys I have recently Moved to Sweden but still have a base in the UK ,what happened this week on the Tele program I was watching as im over here for a few Xmas days ,proves how F-----k–d up this country is, it was about some spongers from Rumania taking ,money from the government and sending it to Rumania,he even went back to Rumania brought back a new child born in Rumo registered the child at a doctor and then claimed benefits ,what the hell is going on ,Glad im out of it start making tracks now guys before whats left of the UK is taken over.

Our government seems to be far too gullible with foreigners while doing everything they can to rip off the folks who are native to this country and have paid taxes all their lives.

Roger, you are absolutely right in your prediction with regard to this country, as of course was the late Enoch Powell in his speech Rivers of Blood. I keep getting emails from this Government, David Cameron, George Osbourne, William Hague and Theresa May. They all ask me to make a donation of Cash to their Party, to help them they say, make the country great again. I have answered each one of them quoting just the sort of thing that you have described. Before anything else they should curb Ille’gal Immigration.
When all Vehicles enter the UK, whoever they are Commercial or Private they should have to go through a check, just as we used to, with sniffer dogs and random Turn Outs. Deporting Immediately any illegals found. They should set up an Investigation Department actively checking on everybody, yes everybody claiming Benefits also. The people that are legitimate in their claims would be OK, the others should have their Benefits stopped immediately. The ones that have not paid into the National Insurance Scheme and who are Foreign should also be very quickly deported. This could save the country Millions of Pounds, and release housing needed for our own people. There would also be more than enough left over to set up and run these Departments if they were properly organised. Mind you it’s not only Foreigners that are at fault. I know for definate of one case in the Town where I live, of a Single Mother that has put her own Daughter out on the Street, so that she, the Daughter could go to the Council and be housed and put on Benefits. But does this Government really want to bother with listening to what the people are saying. It would seem not. That is why people like you and myself, plus many many other people, a great deal of them former International Drivers are spending less and less time in the country, and are living abroad.

The poor countries of the world are speading their populations around the richer countries, at the expense of the public services that those nations have built up, over the years. The banks want cheap labour as close as possible to the market, and multinational corporations want lower labour prices everywhere. We’re all going to hell in a handcart.

I moved to Sweden at the end of 76 and lived there for roughly 5 years. I was aware of the scams that were taking place by certain foreign groups to get into Sweden even way back then. The Kurds were one such group. Often they were already guest workers in Germany and discovered that there were better deals to be had in Sweden if they destroyed all their documentation and entered Sweden claiming political asylum. One route was to get into Norway and then slip across the border into Sweden. (told to me by my missus who was a copper in Sweden).
I understand that Sweden now has problems with all the muslims entering the country. A trend that is affecting many European countries!
Little wonder this country is attractive to the “have nots and don’t want to work for it”. Our welfare state was formed for the elderly and sick - not lazy money grabbers or imigrants “looking” for employment. It is coming to a situation where we need a stronger government and a penal system that denies privelage. A good start would be to get out of the European Economic Community and tighten our borders. Make our country for the British - not a melting pot or holiday camp for all and sundry. Phew! I’ve got that off my chest. Hi all.As Ron so rightly says Sweden has its own problems a lot of which were,and are bought on by their generous nature,and naivity of the ‘‘outside world’’.This is partly due to geographical location,climate and sparcity of population.The mentality is changing now though due to the scarcity of affordable accomodation in the more populated areas.
Recently the '‘old’'government of Reinfeldt,which had been in power for ever was defeated and the anti immigration party was the third most powerful party in the new government.This gave them the balance of power and they demonstrated this within 2 months by bringing down the government on budget proposals which included keeping the satatus quo of immigration and asylum spending when they wanted it drastically reduced saying ''we can’t house and help our own people let alone thousands of immigants\asylum seekers.So now it looks like new elections in March.
A couple of weeks ago a Rumo family of begggars were caught here in Gällivare begging outside the supermarkets.The police were called by someone[not me]because they had a French people carrier with bald tyres[summer]and the person was concerned.It turned out they had no tax,ins,mot and diverse faults so the vehicle was impounded.Later the Rumo Went to the garage and paid cash for the bill of repairs,mot and tyres [app£1000]cash. the next day they were back outside the supermarket with their little bucket.Now however they are not getting anything.The thing is that up here it’s like a big village,everyone knows everyone else.People are kind here but it doesn’t take much to ■■■■ em off.
On a personal note i must say that i am happy with the way of Life here and the people,yes we have problems[who doesn’t]but generally i feel happier and better off than i was in Holland or the UK.

I did know that Sweden had a problem with imigrants but not on the scale of the UK, but most countries have it that have a good welfare system,like you im happy here ,good fishing, my little 3 day job,friendy people,clean country,this will do me,

Like you i am quite happy here and would not consider moving anywhere else now.As you say this is a problem with any country with a well developed social structure.I Think the difference up here is the ‘‘wildness’’ of the country and the insular nature of the people,if you ■■■■ one off you ■■■■ off the whole village.In relation to the immigrant\asylum\beggar problem here it is impossible for them to hide so soon everyone knows about them,be it good or bad.When the Rumo beggars first came here people were a bit sympathetic but when you see a bit in the local paper about some old dear who has a crap pension and is sad because she ain’t got enough money to buy Xmas prezzies for the grandkids and next to it is a pic of a Rumo beggar outside supermarket happily begging whilst at the same time puffing on a cigarette and talking on his mobile phone then the sympathy soon runs out.Or when someone in Göteborg mugs 
a Rumo beggar and gets away with about £300 you begin to wonder.
Today it’s -15c with snow so i’m definitely having a White Xmas.Take care.Mike

The bit that hurts the most is that we have opened our arms to many of these immigrants, and what do we get in the way of thanks, Nothing apart from taking us as a country
as MUGS if we were to move to any of these countries we would have to abide by there rules, but oh no they come here and just take the p**s. It really is time that the naïve people in all political parties get there fingers out and sort this MASSIVE problem out before it really is to late…

I am a simple S.O.B but to me the whole argument about foriegners getting benifits here in the UK should be a simple one. If you ain’t paid in you can’t draw our. How difficult to understand is that? Why, EU treaties allowed, should any Country be expected to pay out to hoards of people who turn up with their hands out. And if that is the EU deal then the sooner we get out the better.
And in Spain, where I lived for 21 years, that is exactly the situation. If you go out of work you have a pot on which to draw which you and your employer have paid in. But when it’s gone. it’s gone.

Hey, Sweden or an other country it will never change again.
Here saw last week a television progamm about Rumo’s and islamic’s. And they told we are everywhere in the E.C. in the minitory and so we will and must have each 10 or so children. Only so we can become a majority and let count our wiches and hope it will so for our grand children.
Pitty for the youth, but i’m happy that I will be gone by that time.
And still thinking lots of people here come up for those, which will kill off their grand-children in some decades.
Pitty that lots of people are unable to see further than the end of there noses.

Hey David, I agree with you, but on one point farmers get for life if it goes bad, and as a haulier or otherone you have to manage to carry it off.
In some countries the market for import stays closed for products from other countries.
Here first they got money to grow than to let stay there stables for animals empty and fields empty. And today the E.U. is talking about free import where do we go■■?
Back to the point, if we went to France or Wallon from Flanders in poor days, after work we had to pack up, they come and bring the family and even grandmother with them, because she can get a pension here.
And so as we are a people friendly country, everyone can get assistance in his own language in hospitals and lots of other things for FREE, or learn our language for FREE and so on and on. No problem our OCMW pays for, which get the money from the tax payer.

I think it is already too late YOYO5,and on the strength of that,my wife and I retired to Portugal last year,should have retired earlier to Portugal,not regretted a second,the UK is on a slippery slope and it’s my children and grandchildren’s future that worries me now.

Hi 5th wheel ,very nice to be in such a nice country, however if you did not all ready know in the 1975/85/90.where, was the poorest country in europe as we knew it then where more shanty towns existed ,beggars with nothing… just like the romo,s…Lisbon!! where i live we have a very large portuguese community,who never want to go back there because the thrive and prosper here… nothing wrong with this good old ENGLAND.You all will be back one day.you can all ways be a orange box, but never a orange…
Hi DBP.I Think it is a personal thing and certainly not the same for everyone.A lot depends on where you moved and why.I moved to Holland in 1977 and lived there for 30 yrs.I have now lived 7 yrs in Swedish Lappland.This together is more years than i lived in the UK.Why should i even Think to go back to the UK at 64 yrs of age.My family are dead,my friends have long since forgotten me,so what is there for me.I Think you can be happy wherever you choose to make your Life.Remember it’s YOUR choice.My quality of life here is excellent.If were to go back to the UK at this time of Life i would only have problems.Yes i am English by birth but i am just an old man.I’m not from a third World country,or seeking asylum so no one would put themself out to help me.The system would only work against me saying ‘‘why have you come back now when you will only be a burden’’.
Well im shocked at all these comments , i was brought up in a small hamlet nestled in the yorkshire dales ( Bradford ) and we have a great multi cultural society where everyone gets along with everyone (we were told that on the news). No trouble here , ok a bit of a riot a few years back but that was just high spirits from a few " locals " but the powers that be pleaded with "the community leaders " to ask them to calm down a little (and they didnt ) so they dont report it in the papers no more . We have barbers shops popping up everywhere , car washes , taxis , takeaways , corner shops , infact anything thats cash in hand ........ i think im getting a little cynical now … how do these people afford top of the range BMWs and Mercs … lots of very small plastic bags on the pavement now never used to see those before ,and why would you put washing powder in such a small bag■■? 
the uk has been finished for years now…the sensible rats have left,or are leaving the siniking ship.like the other poster,you daren’t post your own views or opinions,or once again,the post will be removed. im visiting relatives in kungsbacka near Gothenburg for a couple of weeks,where the opinions and views of the majority here are just honestly and openly racist,except there not racist when there stating facts and you see your own country going down the toilet where everyone gets top benefits,except you,and that’s because your basically pink and born in your own country…if you think its bad for muslims and imports in Sweden,then look and feel pity for whats flooding into the uk now.
