Why drivers block raundabound and road crossing?

Why drivers block raundabound???near every week go to Asda Erith and when back to Dartford side i must follow to Gatwick side but drivers from Saisbury s side block raundabound When go to Erith as well drivers block roundabound and block truck car with different religion ,national and local old people as well.and not see not one time if police give penalty to someone or try make regulation.Yes queues there ,because roadwork at Dartford but why drivers go in roundabout if exit not clean???This situation can see everywhere???How to can improve, change???What you think??

Eh?

I agree Andrejs… it happens everywhere…There would be far less congestion and much more free flow of traffic if selfish drivers didn’t block off the roundabouts…
These drivers are the first to complain when traffic lights are installed on roundabouts…
Life would be a lot simpler if drivers learnt to use the roads properly.

Seany:
Eh?

Obviously not Andrej’s first language but not difficult to read, and definitely better than I could manage in his language.

Have you tried waiting for a big enough gap on the road off the roundabout, before movinv onto the roundabout?

Drivers make congestion simply because they are stupid or they think if he stop at raundabound and after this traffic at Dartford tunnel start moved 3 time faster. Why need make to many congestion ??Why police not do nothing against drivers broken all rulles■■?

■■■■ poor planning or being deliberately selfish are usually the reasons

Phony immigrant joke wearing thin now.

And the pedestrian lights within 5 meters of the roundabout exit? The dive bombers who cut in using speed and agility over manners? Those who take the racing line rather than holding lanes and the poor sods who have missed a turning and go around again?

I can think of several roundabouts that have exit roads unseen until you are close to using them and certainly past the point of avoiding blocking entry/exit roads you have passed in an artic with a standard 13.6m trailer, even close coupled.

id say " THICK! :grimacing: " :sunglasses:

I blocked one yesterday in witham - had enough space to get round it, but as I got onto it, the car to my left decided to jump out in front and take the space (it was a mini roundabout). Left me with the trailer across the roundabout, couldn’t go back, could no longer go forwards. Got all sorts of abuse from some bloke trying to get past from the right, even though everybody else was managing to swing round the back of the trailer, albeit slowly. The lights at the junction holding the traffic up seemed to take forever to change!

I think the solution is more question marks. Followed by squashing a testicle

Sometimes you just have to join the idiots. Getting onto a roundabout in rush hour is bad enough. You will never get anyway if you wait for a gap.

I have to go round that pair of roundabouts that the OP is talking about several times a week. The traffic is appalling and people do block all the exits and entrances to the roundabout. In my observations the main bulk of the problems arise from cars (and some lorries) being in the wrong lane either deliberately or accidentally.

Drivers tend to block r/abouts & junctions because their time is infinitely more precious than any other road users, and the reason for their journey is immeasurably more important than anyone else’s. This ubiquitous self delusion is linked to a belief rooted in childhood that they are the central point of the known universe, and you, in comparison, are less than nothing.
I hope this clarifies the status quo for you. :grimacing:

nope :grimacing: just THICK :sunglasses:

Car drivers press the accelerator until traffic or lights in front dictate otherwise. There is no planning involved, ■■■■ poor or otherwise :frowning:

tbh ive found myself in this position a few times lately, not poor planning as such as the gap was there when i stated to pull away but cars are that quick that at times by the time your half way around some BMW has pulled in front lol…

Sorry to go against the grain here but, I will block any roundabout if I deem it appropriate. There are roundabouts that If you wait for a space you may as well put the digi on break until 8pm, sadly too many drivers are selfish and won’t let you out if you try and leave the required space, you have to join these selfish drivers to get anywhere. That is trucking in the real world, not some text book!

you need to know your place. those car drivers cutting you up, taking your place in que are out to save lives, end pestilence and world famine.what have you got to offer in replace of your spot on a roundabout?
