On my photocard I have a full D1+E and on my counterpart I have a provisional D1+E.
A few years ago DVLA automatically removed all provisional entitlement unless you specifically asked to retain them.
When my licence was renewed at that time they removed them despite me requesting their retention. They wanted a fee to reinstate them until they realised it was their mistake.
Will have to check my licence, but pretty sure I have D1 on it, passed end of 96 so got C1 on there. Not that it will be much use for a while, had a heart attack 10 days ago, (34yrs old!!!) bypass op planned for 21st June, so will be off the road for a while.
