HiyaâŚi think its what ever you do is wrongâŚlike the weight restriction near BathâŚWE DONâT WANT TRUCKS,
it dose get you downâŚi moved house years ago, i was driving a 4 wheeler Daf at the time, my boss just said
iâll leave you enpty for the weekend to move house, Half way through unloading up turns PLOD.
whats going on, he muttered, i said removals why, he told me someone had reported the LORRY parked in
the avenue. i said look its a van full of furniture. thats a furniture van, when its enpty itâll move away.
that was a good start to the newish house.
Now when its truck fest how many people go to thatâ â ? and iâll lay money down theyâre not all lorry drivers
going to that, the same as when the commercial show was at earl,s court you couldânt move for people.
now you go to Canada or the USA youâll see trucks parked in posh driveways out side big houses, the cafes say
cars also welcomeâŚi think thats just a couple of things to âŚss you off with this country.
John
Over here you are treated as a professional people are more likely to give way to you on the roads and even in the services you are treated better and with a bit of respect. Some companies let you take the truck home on resets some donât depends who you work for if itâs your own truck crack on.
They can love or hate the industry but fact is without lorrys and drivers they wouldnât have anything, everything they have has been delivered at some stage

To be honest, thatâs a bit of a rubbish argument weâve all heard more times than any of us care to remember. The other side of the argument is that without them choosing to buy all these things, youâd have nothing to deliver - hence, no job.
I tend to find that as long as youâre friendly and ok with others, theyâll be the same with you. There are exceptions from this rule - some people are absolutely miserable â â â â â , but to be honest, theyâre miserable â â â â â with everyone, regardless of occupational choices. I just love to wind the miserable people up by making sure they canât miss me being polite and chirpy when I say âhelloâ.
i am starting to get that way now,and what you said is spot on,well written
