How is disagreeing with somebody’s opinion and point of view ‘slagging off’ exactly??
I was under the impression that was what a FORUM is all about…an exchange of views and opinions

Sorry spelling mistake, should read yourself, not yurself, just thought I’d mention it before I got crucified,
i would like too thank the car driver for calling our office too complain about me going through the roadworks between 28 and 31 on m1 and taking up two lanes, what they failed too notice was the warning triangles, at each corner of the 12 foot wide steel plates i was transporting and the ■■■■■■ van than was following me with as many flashing lights on it that would make any disco look tame, when this was pointed out to the person there reply was why didnt they put it on the train instead of holding everyone up

Yeh, done that.
Pointed out to o/p that in my opinion he was making something out of nothing that did not adversely affect him.
Then told him how I would deal with the same situation.
Then later told him he was digging a hole for himself judging by the general concensus.
Still can not see where I slagged him off.
So what’s your point mate??

its strange how it only seems to be the UK that have this lets pull in at the last second mentality and create standstill traffic, to me the 800yards is a get into the nearside lane not blast along until you force others to brake to allow your lack of forward planning.
correct. that’s why we as professional drivers do three lanes, three trucks!
even easier now as at one mile marker, they put a flashing beacon what these " idiots miss! " we can’t merge in this country like they use the " zip method ! " in Europe because it’s pig " IGNORANT ! " drivers who race to the " BOTTLENECK " who cause all the delays!
jeez who would of thought you’d have to read the road signs on the LEFT OF THE CARRIAGEWAY, you know as we drive on the left in this country!

The country really has a lot of very stupid people.
commonrail:
Lifes too short mate.drink beer and eat chinese.
chicken chow mein, yes, singapore noodles a no no way too spicy
Beef curry with egg fried rice last night, although i am partial to chow mein.
Mmmmmm chow mein
I often take up two lanes at a merge point. Stops all the ■■■■■ in Audi’s/BMW’s, and ladder ridden berlingo driving bellend’s pushing in.
Coach driver taking pictures in a queue? 1. Sad
2. Sadder still-driving pensioners around and having a combover
3. And petrol station sunglasses.
Knob.

Aw bless, I took the photo as so many get shot down for asking a question or pointing something out then not being able to substantiate it. Not just pensioners, randy Uni students most of the time and I’ve got plenty of hair. I’d shave it before I have a combover. I buy proper sunglasses not the Gray-Ban crap from msa’s.

Thanks, I was just curious why someone would block 2 lanes for a third of a mile for negligible benefit to themselves. Just let them past and they’ll be gone by time you get there is what I say.

I like them, the thick ones can get stodgy.
What’s the matter with English food? I’d rather have a good kebab or pizza rather than foreign noodles any day.
