And in an artic setup, how would they pay their fares?

In Africa they have conductors, even have a code/way of telling the driver when to stop for pax to alight.

Really?

Sounds like they’re really popular, I keep getting told about them… Did you hear about the code / way of telling the driver when to stop for passengers?

SWEDISH BLUE:
This is the local bus service in Cuba. As the rep said " First for the bull, then for the people.

Some of the passengers I used to pick up didn’t even deserve the cattle cart.

Sorry, zb tapatalk…

If Lorries picked up people I wouldn’t have had a job for 23 years

Its bliss now having a load that cant talk back or who wants their change when they get off

Back in the 1960’s and before, it was a common sight to see a cover on the back of a builder or council lorry, for the gang of blokes to sit inside to travel to and from a job. The cover was only a light weight affair which was lifted off, and the gang used it to sit in to eat their grub. No door or padded seats, just a board either side to sit on, and an opening on the back.
