I don’t mean the actual holiday or the time off work!
I’m talking about having to take your kit out of the truck 
I cannot believe the amount to crap I collect over such a short space of time and its taken me 2 hours to de-kit my wagon tonight 
That’s 2 hours of valuable beer time that I will never get back and I can guarantee that some trog will end up driving it too.
Is it me or does everyone have this problem?
Yep, it takes an insane amount of time to empty my truck
At my old firm years ago the truck was parked up and nobody else touched it.
Now any tom ,■■■■ or harry will use it. Sign of the times i guess

One firm I went to on agency I used to drive the wagons of the guys who were on holiday. I’d been going in there on and off for 13 years and they all knew me and knew they’d get the wagon back as they left it with their kit all there so they’d not de-kit the motor if they knew I was going to be using it.
It was a dead mans shoes place for getting a job and I felt kind of honoured in a daft way that those drivers trusted me like that. I remember going in one day, meeting one driver who’d had a day off the day before at the pumps and him telling me someone had nicked half his maps. Agency made the right noises but never compensated him for it.
The holiday PITA continues 
I’m back tomorrow so I put most of my stuff in the car today to put in the truck as I like to get sorted for Monday 
Well when I left it it was immaculate 
Today it looks like a ■■■■■■■ toilet 
There is ■■■■■■■ mud everywhere and some ■■■■ decided to remove my truck table and chuck it in the passenger footwell. So I’ve spent 3 hours cleaning it up just to get it back to where it was
None of the power sockets worked as all of the fuses were blown and the suzies are in a right state
Don’t these monkeys realise what bad feelings this causes amongst the drivers - Unfortinately its not worth persuing as no one would admit to it and its just no worth the hassle as the company would not be interested.
To add to this my misses gave me ■■■■ for spending to much time sorting my wagon out even though I spend more time in it than my own home
As I said - holidays are a PITA
i am lucky i just leave mine as it is, but then normally only one other driver that will drive mine while am away, and we have been friends for years so just leave my stuff in there, if he wants to use my t.v or cooker ect not a problem 
We have it easy.
Nothing Private permitted in the Lorry 
So nothing to take out
