I have some time to kill before my Mum and son come up on the train on Tuesday for a few days, and there will be hundreds of gongoozlers around over the holiday weekend so they’ll want something to look at, but I will pair up with another boat every time so as not to waste water, plus it makes things easier for them to have another boat in the lock, especially when going up as it stops their boat being thrown about in the lock as it fills, many of the boats around this week will be hire boats and the crews are normally inexperienced and quite nervous.

I am working over the weekend including a night out on Sunday. I expect that to be cancelled though so no shift on Monday. Schools holidays finish on Monday but I have no classes on Tuesday anyway so I have an extra day off 
Got back about 11 today, Good Fri.
Finished earlier than expected as the rest of my work today was cancelled, so that’s me off until late Wed AM.

Finished at 4:30pm today, back in tomorrow for 4:30am till the afternoon I expect, Sunday off, then back in Monday for the rest of the week. Woop
This is the USA, truck drivers don’t get Good Friday as a holiday and here Easter Monday does not exist LOL, however I started work last Sunday morning and my last delivery was in Toronto, Canada on Wednesday, to my supprise my dispatcher (traffic manager) told me to just come home for the weekend

Worked Friday morning. 2 loads on a walking floor. Haven’t been on one for 11 years. Back in on Monday to terrorise some tourists.

Same here, terrorising tourists makes it all worthwhile…especially blowing over caravans on the way past them…
