Yes, I see a few TruckNet members out and about, I’ve had the good fortune to chat with a fair few, but there are two people I see most weeks to wave at, and that’s Denis F and the chap who drives the Yodel artic- I’m racking my brains to remember his user name but the Altzeimer’s has kicked in- if he reads this perhaps I can apologise and he can remind me?
I saw quite a lot of my trailer in the mirror. Besides that ■■■■ all
Oh I did see Swedish Blue’s lorry parked up looking sad.
And trucker Al going like a cut cat on the A37
Met ‘Kilty’ aka Simon when I was over at his yard on Monday afternoon , really nice fella.

I’ve honestly got no idea about wage rates, I’m a subbie not an employee, I do talk to employed drivers fairly regularly and the general consensus of opinion is “No better or worse than anybody else down here”. Most of the employed drivers have been there for years.
I will just say that in my opinion, Gregory’s are a thoroughly decent company to work for, everybody talks to you respectfully (they expect the same in return), and they pay on time, every time.
If anybody is thinking of going to the Open Day on the 25th January then the best I can suggest is to go for it, they are hardly going to hold a gun against your head and force you to drive a brown and yellow truck. The worst you can do is waste some petrol.
Ok Harry cheers for the heads up
They certainly have their fingers in alot of pies these days theres probably worse companies to work for, as you say no harm in him poppin over to see whats on offer.
