Memo on board saying we’ve won a contract delivering aggregates, any one lost one , tell me anything about it :idea
Ta
I see in your future a post from your good self, asking the best way to strap loose aggregates…
I am of course joking doze… Maybe.
I thought aggregates was a pretty low profit sector already.
What sectors are left for them to decimate.
We do some as backloads from various areas. You will be going to crappy quarries in the middle of nowhere, and be delivering to crappy builders merchants in the middle of towns and villages. Enjoy, you’ll get plenty of practice reversing blind side and maneuvering in tiny yards

More like loading from Hulland Products going to B&Q ect ect .
At least it doesn’t sound like its the Tarmac truepac contract (B&Q etc)
Heard this the other week that they had won Aggregate Industries contract of Norberts I think ? Not sure what part they’ve won but can imagine it will be work out Hulland Ward and Bardon and other places ?
Stobarts with tippers?
Let the carnage begin!

I don’t think it’s tipper work i think it’s blocks etc etc
To be honest, right now I’m staying in this business only because I have a good thing going (no, not telling), and because I have a morbid curiosity to see how this industry is going to be ripped to shreds by the big companies in their relentless race to the bottom…
