Well I’ve just paid for my ticket to the Middle East re union at the Heritage Motor Centre in September.
The phone number in the T & D advert is wrong, I had to google the site to get the correct phone number.
The correct 'phone number for booking is: 01926 645029 NOT 01925 645029.
I sent an email to Ferdy asking if guests would be wearing name badges as despite knowing each other better than you knew your family 40 years ago, we would have trouble recognising any one now! We had a local re union up here a couple of years ago and considering we were all young lions in those days, I thought I had walked into an old folks home! Old guys with little or no hair, hearing aids and walking sticks!
Sorry to say but we are getting a little thin on the ground these days with losing so many colleagues, but I’m sure there’ll still be a goodly turnout, Look forward to seeing some of you there.
I’d love to go but it’s a bit of an expensive hike. As for hair it might be a bit grey down the side but I’ve still go a good every strand I was born with.
