Parking the car in the quarry, then catching the companies’ sunshine bus to head office to get our trucks as we do every two weeks. Except ths will be the last time, counting down to the 20th…

Hi Harry, do you not go down the M3 coming off and going through Bracknell on to the M4■■? Just wondered as its quicker than going up to the M4 itself :smiley:

I do sometimes do the Bracknell short-cut but as it’s a roof-high load of timber I probably won’t bother with the roundabouts!

Going via the A329 does save 12 miles but when you factor in the increased fuel consumption then it doesn’t really save a lot.

Tanker from Purfleet to Middlesbrough, swap tanks. M’brough to Newcastle to tip. Back to M’brough to pick up original tank for loading Tuesday morning for run back down south. :sunglasses:
