The big point that needs to be covered, was everyone wearing there hard hats. As we all know they would protect you from anything falling on your head. Lol

Never done tipper work but what should be done in a situation like that, say soft ground? Obviously dump the air out of the trailer but would it be worth swinging the unit on a 45° angle to the trailer?

The key really to to be totally straight and have a clear space/exit in front of you as once the load goes out the back it will push you forward.

Where is that tango? What went wrong? Sticky load?

Not sure where it was mate

Was at Finmere.

I wonder where the Scania driver ended up?,probably in the passenger footwell.

Apparently a walking floor tipped along side at the I same time ,the tipper set off and ran over some of the walking floor load .

Sounds right for a Holloway driver. Used to see them all the time at a landfill near their place in Oldbury.

Their drivers would try a jump the queue, open their doors whilst next to your trailer at full height and once they unloaded there would be no time to lower the body. They used to lower the body whilst driving back to the weighbridge and close the doors in the seconds the paperwork got done. Also never had time to do the nets on the trailer even carrying light stuff.

I have no clue how that company paid or how you got a nicer lorry etc but most of them were on the limit every second of the day. Enough so that even me and the other drivers on tippers actually thought they were cutting every corner possible

Just aswell N.S Clarkes have thier own wrecker then, must be a busy bod.
