Yep it was Pointons, not a bad job actually and you get used to the smell, would have still been there but heard Sainsbugs were setting on so went back there on agency

i go in there quite a bit and thank god i pick up the powdery stuff in a tanker. i can just about bare the smell( worse in the summer) and the flies, but i could,nt look at that all day.
good thing about the place is the lads on the gate are ace and the lads in the works are ok too.

Your right about that dave, happiest security blokes ever, must be the smell  :exclamation:

I started going to work with my dad in his 7.5t lorry when I was 6. I went with him every weekend and sometimes stayed off school in my later school years to help him as he had sore back from picking all this kind of stuff up in bins which weighed up to 450lb. Long story about tipping them in Granox in Widnes (now PDM). It would be bins of bones, offal, skulls. Sometimes full pigs or cows which are heavy !!! Even picked up some dead snakes and cats !

This is what I wanted to do (drive the wagons) from an early age. I blame my dad for the position Im in now

I hope it aint handball

a vegatarian
