I think I am,therefore I am…I think?

Hard to say. I mostly drive small vans, drive class 2 on occasions and also do some other, non-driving related creative work, hoping that the latter will soon be able to support all my financial needs.

Full time driver for nearly 30 years, last 25 year on artics. Done all sorts off haulage easier to say I havent done Tankers or Wide loads or some of the real specialist work. UK only, thought about Continental many years ago but never found better paying jobs, so stopped looking. On boxes now, indulging my idle side

Like to think that I’ve got a worth while contribution to make on most subjects, and have taken alot off knowledge away from here, but with the attitude being, I will listen to anyone, then go away and digest at my leasure, then if it makes sense use the knowledge if it sounds barmy bin it  this is what I’ve allways done even before T/net :sunglasses: .

Full time, class 1 car transporter driver.New to the artic but drove the rigid 8 years for the same firm.( motor auction ).

Just a pointer to the OP,if you want a positive response to your future polls, drop the “hell”. It sounds a bit like a challenge.

nick2008:
…I don’t and never will do ADR they don’t pay enough

Oh, I don’t know, gas mini-bulkers can bring in more than Class 1 bog-standard round here if the hours are right.

Where’s the “6 months full-time over the winter followed by a ■■■■-out/semi-retired summer” option? :grimacing:

Edit to add, by full-time I mean on the firm’s books as opposed to agency. Got the foot in the door having worked for them through agency in the past.

If you include my time as a drivers mate,I have been on the road for 52 years, now semi retired.
