Sorry to go slighty off topic, I went and watched the BSB at Mallory Park today, really enjoyed myself! 
But since when has Eddie Stobart had a BSB racing team?? Was quite suprised to find 3 stickered up in Stobart logos!!

I didnt say it was easy, and its certainly not for anyone, who wont rope and sheet, or start before 6, or drive a Renault.The job will be hard work, its all about presentation and sponsorship.
The main job will be at the circuits, preparing pits and hospitality suites, The crew members are normally good team players, they cant do with a whinging bloke, who thinks he knows best
The HGV licence is just a very small part of this job, anyone can drive a truck, not everyone can work out precise fuel measurement or tyre temperatures. I would think its interesting because if you have responsibility for dealing with the tyre company, and you get it slightly wrong, you will be more hated then you are now

Its exactly as you say Wheel nut, the driving will be a small part of the job, for that £30k they will expect, nay, DEMAND blood, frequently. I have had very recent and ongoing dealings with an F1 team in my day job and I can state with some confidence that the Corporate mentality does not reside on this planet.

well m8 it’s simple they want the elite troops m8,not them low life so called civillian drivers who haven’t done a hard days graft since they got their licence.

Not all high paid jobs are great believe me 
Having worked closely with the Jaguar, Ford and Jordan teams in the past I can tell you the job is very hard work. If you make one error in those pits you are out of the game for good.
You can forget having any sort of married life.
If you are single and love F1 with total commitment go for it
If you have the slightest doubt in your mind, … DON’T
If you want to look out for these jobs, get Autosport every Thursday. Must be 30 jobs a year for truckies advertise in there from F1 to lower formulae. Maybe a dozen are F1 (including tyre manufacturers, caterers etc etc).

Believe me If you got ajob with a racing team and stopped working after those set hours you wouldn’t have a job the following day.
Wtd doesn’t come into Motor Sport, be ready to work 24 hours a day if needed.

Since Paul Bird made the mistake of signing Jeremy Mcwilliams up to ride the Stobart Honda. he has threatened that if things dont alter there will be some big changes 
At least the Actros can go back on the haulage fleet.
