Regularly put the wipers on instead of the retarder :blush: Also watch the trailer follow on roundabouts and take a wide line driving out of the yard

I always reverse my Focus using wing mirrors only…I’ve got a reversing camera in my wagon which gives a very misleading view,so I have learnt to distrust it,this has obviously led to a similar distrust in my rear view mirror :unamused:

In the early 90’s after driving an Eaton Twinsplitter all day shifting without the clutch, would jump in the car at night convinced I could drive it home without using the clutch once rolling. Not good for the car really… too many grinding noises and clunks…

having worked at the same place for numerous years i have a pass for the staff car park
which is round the corner from the commercial vehicle entrance
yes you guessed it
every now and then i drive up to the artic entrance in my car
thinking to myself what bay shall i back up to

Quite often in the car ill try for 6th gear, much to the amusement of my wife

do that too. but how i laughed when i saw the other half try and put my car into a gear it hasn’t got :laughing:

Well it’s a long time time since I had IT in a car, but does anyone remember the old Ford Anglias with the “ankle straps” on the door pillars? :smiley:

so noone who drives a lhd truck gets into the passenger side of there car(I have seen someone do that before now)

Now as i am driving a shunter all day I also keep going for 3rd gear when pulling away in the car(A mitsubishi l200 which it will just pull away in 3rd) and my worst is the brakes are harder on the car compared to the shunter brakes which are softer feel.

I do some of the things mentioned but I sometimes go for the lift axle in the car once av tipped the load of shopping hahaha
