For once a very rare time I can answer this, as being in such a large continent, not just country. I was parked on a 10 hour break at the TA in Columbia NJ on Wednesday, had food and a shower, went back to my truck to see a Midland truck parked next to me and very soon a geezer walks back to the drivers door, looks at me a grins, walks over and say’s “Are you Pat from Towcester ?”
Turns out it was Steve Owen, ex Northampton. So there ! … I got in first :laughing:

Met Eagerbeaver in the pub two nights on the bounce. Top man and a top night tbh. He especially impressed me on the second occasion when he simply parked his artic right outside the boozer and came in! :smiley: . Disclaimer; before anyone gets on their high horse he drunk only Coke that night.

Yep. Confirmed meeting of minds with Maoster.

I wanted him to be dull, ugly, and dreadful company. 2 out of 3 isn’t bad I suppose.

(Sadly, he turns out to be funny, handsome and a cracking fella…)
