Who let's Co op out (woof woof)

Got stuck behind a Co op trolley dolly this .or omitted south through Wrexham. Followed him(along with a huge q of cars) all stuck at bang on 40.
Managed to speak to the driver at Mile End roundabout, he said they are not permitted to use the new limits ? ? ? ? ? ?
So I thought the new limits were to ease the flow of traffic ,and reduce e stupid overtakes.
Guess Coop bosses know better.

Who really cares. They pay the driver fuel bills etc. Not everyone’s in a rush.

If you don’t like driving a lorry at 40mph then get another job. As has been mentioned many times before, they are limits not targets.

Job going in Thurrock

Suggest you get another job,if you need to speed the jobs not worth having, its your Licence not the Boss`s

If it’s NSL it’s not speeding anymore is it?
I’ve noticed a couple of CoOp motors doing 40 when 50 was legal and perfectly safe and just assumed they’d not been told of the increase, or were agency drivers after an extra couple of quid. :smiling_imp:

Funny isn’t it? When bosses tell drivers to go slow, irrespective of the nuisance factor to other road users, it all seems acceptable, however when the drivers do it for themselves to squeeze an extra 15 minutes pay per day, it is almost seen as somehow criminal. :grimacing:

Why does it always seem to be the shop trucks that seem to dawdle everywhere?

Then pull over and have a cup of tea, and take 5 hardly rocket science

Why should they. And in doing so you’ll have the… All the layers are full nowhere to park lot crying…

Because personally given the option of crawling along or stopping and having a cuppa I’d opt for the cup of tea

Ever thought of pulling over & getting the zb off the road…

I followed a co op lorry the other day. He never once hit 4 0 mph. He would go round slight corners at 20 and on the straights only hit 30. No possible overtaking

Maybe you should pay attention to your job, the speed limits have changed on single carriageways from 40 to 50.
