European driving job at Bromham,Brookes and Benson that was Rae Logistics Ltd,if they are after an ADR driver, did you ask for their Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor, may be you will have to buy your own PPE kit,as it may not be supplied,if get caught abroad or in the UK for an ADR kit check,it is down to you too.Did you see the Operating Licence, that effects if your load and vehicle is insured or not,no O licence means you are not insured for goods in transit.
If you are in a Dutch reg truck, where is your employment contract for the Dutch firm you are working for,try an argue the toss about that in a German B.A.G control. You may be paying to run the truck tolls upfront, out of your pocket, that can be hundreds of pounds a week, depending where you are sent to.

Yet again you post something about a company advertising a driving job. I dont know if you have an ulterior motive but a couple of things you say are straight out of the DM manual.
Firstly a company does not need to employ a DGSA, they can use the services of someone like Diesel Dave or hundreds of other consultants who have passed the examinations set by the SQA.
The minimum requirement for insurance in the UK is RTA Only, or Third Party. Goods in Transit & Public Liability insurance is optional, although customers will normally not give out work until they have seen proof of cover and it would be a foolish man not to have something in place.
I drove a Dutch & Belgian registered truck with an English licence and my contract of employment was drawn up & signed in the UK. I also drove a German registered truck on the same licence with a contract drawn up in the UK, the only difference, was that I was advised to carry a Social Insurance Card by the BAG.
I was on ADR work all the time so I got my fair share of controls both on the road and inside factory premises, so I would suggest if anyone wants to get a start in European haulage, then your post may not put them off
