Who is the best trainer in the UK?

Never been done before but why not.

How do you judge the best trainer? Pass Rate, attitude to their students? I am proposing that all Trucknetuk trainers any others arrange a venue with certain criteria and a few newbies. Each newbie gets the chance to judge in the following

  1. Ability to make the CE reversing passable within 3 efforts
  2. A right turn at a roundabout in rush hour
  3. Move away from the kerb in rush hour from behind a parked vehicle
  4. Other criteria as trainers see fit

Other trainers will respond with other ideas but Who is the best trainer in the UK?
They are my 3. Other trainers will have more.

I am willing to donate £250 to the chosen charity of the best trainer in the UK if I don’t win, and the same if I do win

This would be a way to find the best newbie driver not trainer…
Trainers are judged on pass rates,so would be more informative to just stick up your pass rate percentage and compare.

  1. Patience to explain, and be able to explain in different ways ( some trainee don’t understand a lot of issues when it comes to driving trucks)

  2. Attitude (power of motivation, passion in what he’s doing, etc.)

  3. Knowledge (being able to answer to ALL driving a truck related questions.

Thats the way i see it when it comes to 3 most important things.

Well who ever is best trainer is open to debate…
