Apparently Traffic Commisioners have been known to take the Dcpc.
The reason; So they know what they are talking about when they take away a drivers licence or O licence.
They also sit on the Operators Cpc course.
A driver was telling the whole class of the offences his firm were commting.
Naming drivers breaking the law.He was due to see a TC and was running the man down, calling him all sorts of names.
The TC was sat in the same room as him.Be careful who you slag off.
Wolf dressed in sheeps clothing comes to mind.
He may be in scruffy jeans and a tee shirt.!
About 20 foreign johnnies who cant read or write English copying my answers!! (Mr.green)

It’s quite OK by JAUPT if a class does an exercise (or three!!) during a DCPC course as it’s all the more evidence that the person was actually there on the day.
Some of the ADR providers I work for have padded out an ADR day (6 hrs) into a DCPC day (7 hrs) by adding discussions /quizzes to the original timetable.

yeah most places do a quick quiz and its legal , its just to see how they do in the training department if what people are being told is actually going in to that Void… You don’t have to do it but then they could say you haven’t fully participated.
Had a guy on one of mine thought he was cleaver till we all swapped papers to mark made himself look a right Rodney
We had a Magazine Editor from a well known haulage magazine on one of the days i did DCPC.
We did try to tap him for a discount on the magazine, but got nowhere with it!
A couple of farmers, two RAF fellas, a collie asleep in the corner and the ladies darts team.

bull crap
Tada end of
Just the usual SAS vets and a bloke who missed the HOFE boat
In a full class of 30 odd, I think I was the 4th youngest there, with the oldest guy 72 and those beating me on youth being immigrants or non-C+E drivers.
Yes, there was a transport manager among us as well. An interesting argument over skips and the neighbourhoods that take the ■■■■ presented itself as what I would call one of the more interesting side shows of the course.
What the hell does anyone think they can teach a 72 year old when he’s gotta have regular medicals and licence renewals all the time as it is?
It’s a travesty this job leaves so many without a pot to ■■■■ in at age 65, that they have to keep on working…
There’s also a school of thought that says “staying on after retirement age is job blocking the youngsters” as well.
Blue card arrived in the post this morning, so about a week to arrive once uploading had been done. That’s fair enough I reckon.

The instructor did make a point of “including those quiet members of the class” when it came to chucking the balls about…

You don’t have to participate, you just have to be there . . . for what it’s worth!

When I say participate Stan I mean you cant turn up sit in the corner and sleep .
we had a lad that turned up and read the paper and played on his phone then had a kip.
His boss was well ■■■■■■ when the trainer still charged the company but refused to allocate the 7 hrs .
Did mine with eleven of my work mates.
Our firm does their own training with our own trainer.
Twelve drivers at a time monday-friday through january every year.
done in house, 5 of us plus the trainer, bit boring really, early start, early finish, paid for a full shift, so can’t complain. recieved card 3 days later.
The TC sat in class was Nick Denton.
Managed to do mine in December as part of an Army resettlement course along with ADR. So had all soldiers and an ex-soldier in. It was death by power point but glad its done ready for my departure in Apr 2015… 423 days

Then his boss should be banging on the door. Attendance for the full seven hours is all that is required.
I’ve done all five parts, on the fourth and fifth part a guy sat there with a book for the full day. Another guy sat there, on my fifth day, with his tablet on using the complex’s wi-fi to surf t’internet all day. Both refused to take part in listening to the presenter read the notes displayed via the projector. They weren’t even interested in pulling the presenter to pieces on their complete lack of knowledge on the subject matter they were getting paid for.

If you’re not doing a written exam, then there’s no way anyone should be ‘charged money’ for ‘7 hours then not credited’.
Of course, the reason there wasn’t a written exam, is so the immigrants can plough through without having to have a decent standard of English language prior to taking any such exam in what would of course be a foreign language to them…
We’re importing low rates mainly from Europe, rather than too many local bods prepared to work as a “loss leader” like some bang on about.
A ■■■■■■■■■ with Sarah and Beverly Bell.Tea and biscuits with the TC.
