then i have to get my car up to salisbury to get that clutch fixed. the rough quote was around £800 and that is paying trade price for the clutch and getting a mate to fit it. god knows how much it would cost for a local garage to do the job :open_mouth:

Next week is another holiday, I can tell that because it is persisisting down here. Trackday at Silverstone Wednesday :cry:

4 days driving ■■■ around west cornwall, and then friday, take a drive up to haydock in preperation for truckfest.

i like this working time directive.

shunting in the yard on sunday then the rest of the week off get this using only 3 days holiday…come on.

leave sunday for a 8am tip in huddersfield empty container then into leeds then anywhere as usual

im working sunday morning at bedfords at birstal leeds thats sunday rate of… £18.50 and if i cant get 10 hrs paid il be losing my touch then mon tues wed off for a few days then thur and fri start college.

Home Monday to Wednesday then off to Haydock Park Truck Show. Just looked at weather forcast, its not good, but, they have been wrong before.
I will be taking the LADY TRUCKERS STAND and being helped by Angela Vasey and her son Scott so do come and say hello to us.

I am meant to be going to Wales, but i can’t find it in either my ADAC map of Germany or Maut Atlas. I hope they have a toll-collect point nearby or i’m gonna be stuffed. :confused:

have you had alook on the net to see if it is possible to get it cheaper
and what about fitting a raceing cremanic (?) plate oh try looking abroad as it must be cheaper than that even here in germany,

Drop a driver a DAF dealer to pick his motor up, then I’m off to Middlesborough for 0930. Back to yard, unload, wash off, and home. :smiley:

Back on the road this week going to Scotland. Got all the stations on and I have to change all the lifejackets from Kippford to Inverness via Tobermorey, Portree and Lochinver so won’t get home untill the following Thursday! Oh joy. Got back to the yard last night from the CPC course to find that the Axor is still here and my new Megaspace which was delivered to the dealer on the 2nd August is still there. The boss tells me that they still haven’t PDIed it yet!
