Collect 0700 between Limoges and Poiters, Wednesday. A Weimerama to deliver to Rouen in the afternoon then up to Bapaume or Cambrai for the night.
Collect a big male Dobermann in Douai Thursday morning and back home.
Deliver him to Bordeaux Friday, or Agen Saturday. Yet to be decided. He’s eventually going to Narbonne.

No mate, massive bust up end of November, offered start with a small 2 tipper and JCB company, last worked 14th December so I’ve been job hunting over Christmas.

Got a 11am tip at TRW Automotive in pontypool tomorrow back to Southampton drop and swap boxes for wembley 6am Monday then upto Leeds get in!! 
I shall be in deepest Wiltshire on a drinking course ahem I mean training course, with a great bunch of lads. A training manager would have spent weeks putting a training programme together which will go off track from the start. It will involve a great deal of banter arguing and discussion.

Changed already, a kind French lady (the president of the Dobermann association) and her husband have offered me to stay the night and to eat with them ( 
I dooooo love French food) and then to take Goldy (yes, the French often give strange names to their boys and girls) all the way to Narbonne after bringing him back home here in the south west. I gently pointed out (I never cease to be amazed how little French people know of their own country) that that would involve 2 or 3 hundred extra kms to pay for and said it would be better if I went direct.
So, from near Douai I will now head due south for Narbonne, stopping the night with my new friend either at Chatillon sur Loire (a very good routier there 
) or, if I am making good time, further south at one of those I have not yet visited just off the autoroute, before delivering in Narbonne on Friday.
This will mean another night out though. I’ll make it as far as Montauban on the way home, another regular and favourite pit stop of mine. Friday nights are less busy there, probably only about 70 or 80 of us. 
Home Saturday morning, although I may have another friend on board from regular loading places at Carcassonne or Cahors.
Don’t know till Monday! But it’s guaranteed to be between three Palletways hubs! 
Hopefully my truck will be fixed Monday then leave Hagerstown Maryland for home.
