Who did you vote for then? - European Election only

Just for a bit of idle entertainment how did you vote for the European Elections?

Green Party

UKIP. Voting for any of the pro-eu parties means voting for an end to cabotage restrictions (they were due to be scrapped last year but the French managed to get it delayed) and voting for an end to cabotage restrictions means voting for an end to the British domestic transport industry, same as we lost the British continental transport industry because of being in the eu.

UKIP

Go on - have a wild guess!

UKIP

Didn’t vote as I was having an absolutely fantastic evening in Thurrock services with a fridge running right next to my ear  Would’ve voted UKIP though.

You can do a postal vote

UKIP.

Let’s just say it wasn’t for this bunch of leftist zb’s.Let alone the LabLibDemConGreen zb’s. :smiling_imp:

If you were going to waste a vote, you might as well have some fun with it.

Cor blimey didn’t UKIP do well. Bet the old boys network are ■■■■■■■■ themselves.

We all be seriously screwed if they end cabotage, believe. You’d just put Pavlov in a unit for a month at a time on 250 euros a week & you be golden.

Sign up for postal voting

Call me irresponsible but why would I vote to put some arsewipe politician on the gravy train, Euro or domestic, to go on to earn an obscene amount of money only to further their political carreer…re.Tony Blair a classic example :imp:
The fact that these ■■■■■ show a desire to become a MP should automatically disqualify them from becoming one.
When there is a down to earth candidate who is not ex. Eton/Harrow, who unlike our Labour leader (the guy who is supposed to represent the working man  ) who does not think that a working family’s food bill is £60 :open_mouth: :unamused: , then I will vote for him.
As Billy Connolly said "Dont vote for the ■■■■■■■ s, it just encourages them

Where’s the option for " didn’t vote because I didn’t get home in time "

If I had it wouldn’t have been for a party that produces daily mail headlines based on fear of immigrants and doesn’t actually have any idea how to run an economy

Didn’t vote because not on electoral register.

I voted for the party I chose to vote for, therefore, not wasted

This has fed my appetite for idle entertainment quite nicely.

Thought UKIP would be popular among truckers. I voted for them in the Euro, but not for the local council. Reason; I think Farage has detailed brilliantly the problems with the EU and there are far more problems than there are benefits with our membership. Let us not forget that for every Eastern EU citizen travelling here to work as a professional driver means a reduction in the average hourly wage for our profession. They are happy to work for minimum wage, it is 3 times what they would get at home. They work in the UK for 2-4 years and they can save enough money to go back home and build their new house with no mortgage or a very small mortgage, leaving us mugs still saving for a deposit!

I agree it is a shame that he exaggerates nearly all of his points, but all the other parties do the same. If UKIP did not adopt the same approach they would end up being like the Greens.

However I don’t think they would have been a reliable authority with regards to domestic politics. Hence why I voted Tory for my local council. It has been run pretty well, see no need for that change. What I will do next May I have no idea.
