Along with the other bull ■■■■ questions I get asked on a daily basis…
The above are just a few of many questions I am asked on a daily basis, working as a S/E driver for a client at a negotiated rate that is none of anyone else’s business, obviously the rate I negotiated is more than any other Tom, Marek or Hariski will work for, so if I tell you I am in at a client more than you are then you will go to register with them, they I wouldn’t be invited back to the client as you will be doing it cheaper than I am…
So when I tell you to F.R.O. when you come racing over to me in the yard to ask me the above questions, I am not being rude, I just don’t discuss things like rates/clients with complete strangers.
(Rant over) It just ■■■■■■ me off being asked the same thing every ■■■■ ing day

as you rightly say , your terms/conditions are no-ones buisiness but your own .but reading your post im not sure if your bragging or complaining
Certainly not bragging at all.
I am just fed up with being asked the same thing by every single driver that I see on a shift.
I was once in a waiting room with 6 other drivers, watching the football, and everyone was looking at me, I turned around and one said “Which agency are you on?”
They went on to explain that they were all talking about who they are working for and what they pay, I politely explained I didn’t discuss clients as I signed a confidentiality clause and they all looked at me like a ■■■■■■■■■■■■■!

fair comment , I think your best option would be to smile and hide behind a newspaper and grin
I’ve been in countless RDC’s and spoke with lots of drivers and I’ve never been asked my rate, how do you get every single driver to ask yours? Do you have some kind of “I’m so much better than you” swagger going on? Or do you walk around with a tiny dog in a Louis Vuitton hand bag ■■

Nope, I don’t walk around with a “Man Bag”
I do turn up smart, uniformed with toe capped trainers… not in tracksuits/rigger boots/oily t-shirt.
The waiting room was a waiting room for the company I was working for on the days in question, so that is why they were all asking me.
I find 99% of drivers seem to know more about my job/ wages than I do,and seem too take great delight informing me what a mug I am too work for it
Flashing a pay slip normally takes the wind out there sails

Snap.
So depending how tired/childish I’m feeling, either double or half my weeks take home. If I half it, make out it’s a really good wage, double it then claim it’s crap and you’re about to leave for somewhere better
Its just a agency thing,i hear them at our place ,they should give each a question form to fill in,if it bothers them that much what each other are doing they should apply for full time job;;;ive been a driver over 20 yrs and allways worked for the firms themselves,in that time not once been asked how much money im on,when you mention applying for jobs they say they like to work when they want ,next time your talking they moan theres no work, cant win
