JOB:Â HGV/LGV C+E CHILLED DISTRIBUTION TRAMPERÂ DRIVER

HOURLY RATE:Â £600PW + NIGHT OUT MONEY

LOCATION: TELFORD

DESCRIPTION:

LGV Drivers urgently require Class 1 LGV/HGV drivers.

Our client, an independent haulage company that provide refrigerated distribution, currently require tramper drivers who have experience with refrigerated trailers. Drivers must be willing to do multidrop and/or trunking.Â

‘Temp to Perm’ vacancies are available for flexible and hard-working drivers.

DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

Store deliveries and collections nationwide.

Multidrop and/or trunking

Assist in loading and unloading when needed.

Completion of all relevant paperwork

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

Must hold full C+E Class 1 license

No more than 6 points, no IN, DR, CD or DD conviction codes

Must have a valid Digital Tachograph Drivers card

2 years driving experience with this class of vehicle

INCENTIVES:

Highest hourly rates paid

Free CPC training after 30 shifts

Uniform provided

Refer a driver scheme

That agency is also offering the very same job at Holyhead too. They could both be genuine, but I am always wary when an identical job is advertised in more than one location. :unamused:

There’s probably 50 shifts a week that need covering - so they overkill it by getting 10 different supplying agencies to try and get 50 new drivers to sign on with each of them.

That way, if guy (1) turns down a shift, there’s another 9 in line to ask right after… If guy (1) accepts the shift, the other 9 get no work at all of course.

And if you turn down a shift …you will find that ‘works a bit slack at the moment’…to show you whos in charge
