I’ve done a few days for Whitefurze through the agency, it is mostly delivering Tupperware-style plastic boxes and baskets largely to “The Range” stores but also some High Street hardware shops. The trucks are quite old and have the usual rattly window and squeaky dashboard issues going on but they do seem to be reasonably well maintained from a legal point of view. I don’t know what they pay directly to employees but on the agency it wasn’t one of the better paying assignments.
we do a daily collection out of Whitefurze, as Harry say’s,a fleet of well-used Scania’s and curtainside trailers,also drop-body wagon and drags.don’t know any of the driver’s,but the lads who load the lorries seem a decent bunch,one of them,Jeffers,always willing to get you loaded asap.office staff seem a decent crew…but then,i’m only visiting
