Hi has anyone got experience of these places, ive put my name down at an agency and these are possible for me
Lasted a fortnight full time at great bear skem transport supervisor was an absolute crank had me in the office three times in two weeks for not phoning in regularly enough !!!
I’m not joking he wanted me to phone in every 15 minutes or say for instance if I saw a car on the hard shoulder broken down I should be informing the traffic office as it could cause delays for the drivers later errrmmmm yeah ok

This would be easy to sort.^^^
Every 15 minutes I’d’ve pulled over, taken 5-10 mins to phone them, before resuming the journey. On the grounds of safety of course. On the motorway, I’ve pulled off at every 2nd or 3rd junction, probably losing 15-20 mins every time. The ■■■■ of a planner would’ve soon got the message…

I got sent to great bear skem once(Agency), 7pm start, got there no unit for me, sat around after waiting for several hours i told the guy in the office that i was going home,and did jokers thought that i was going to do a 12hr stint after waiting around for 3-4hrs still, i got paid for the min 8hrs

i got sent to a few places where they didn’t have a truck for me, or had doubled booked with another agency, but they usually wouldn’t keep you for very long, before signing your time sheet, agency always paid the guaranteed 8hrs, but yeah it happens or used to,
Great Bear do a lot for Cadburys, so make sure you know the way to the Bournville factory (Low bridge)
Used to do agency for them, used to be a miserable fat youth in traffic, dunno or care if he is still there, rest of the time you deal with security on the gate they are ok, used to know what they where doing.
