I wondered how long it would take for the clever ■■■■■■■ to join in the debate.
I know brum is south of telford smart arse, I was going off what my sat nav said was the best route in the first post. I have never driven in that area so dont know which roads are duals, single or cart tracks. People around here are all to happy to say get rid of sat nav and use a map, well guess what I wont and all I asked was an opinion of others that wanted to give me some advice on the best route not for the usual bell ends to post useless crap.
Everyone who offered help I appreciate it, all those who didnt can get ■■■■3d

Ended up doing 9:45 driving, went the A38 route, was easy enough, just set a waypoint on my sat nav for assistance, was straight forward following the instructions and road signs
Im sure if I had went furthur south or M62 route I wouldn’t have made it, its a usual run for us but overtime for me, was light enough only 16 pallets of smarties boxes or sumin’ or nothin’, then upto morrisons wakefield for a load of pulp back to yard, I was letting it over run some what, think I hit my artic land speed record

Why does it matter? It only matters if you run bent or run in an overloaded or unroadworthy/uninsured/untaxed vehicle.
The ministry don’t bother me one way or the other but just say you happen to have a bulb which blows midway in the journey. In times past,if you said ‘Bloody hell,I’ll change that now’ it would be alright, not these days.
