Which road atlas with good level of detail?

Hello All

Apologies if it is too similar to the post already on this page.

Read the post re phillips and AA truckers map on this page and have both but with the prospect of a job delivering to some small farms I want a map with the same level of detail as the O/S explorers.

Someone at a job I went to told me they used an atlas that was called an explorer “I think” but I have not been able to find one.

Does anyone use anything other than the Phillips or AA truckers atlas and if so could you post up some details please.

Thanks

You may want to post this in the p d f you will get more views.

Although I’m a map man and have street maps of just about everywhere I’m likely to get sent plus the Navigator and AA Close up, for ultimate detail you can’t beat a smartphone with Google maps or the OS app. Used in conjunction with a real map it is a really good tool.

Thanks to both for your replies, I will do as suggested and ad it to the PDF.

just baught the phillips navigator (about 12 quid on amazon) on reccomendation from a driver who used to do livestock mainly because it includes farm names. very handy. however i do appreciate the detail for those types of roads is not great. the smartphone or net book with google is definatly your best bet or its a massive box of regional maps.
